Beauty favorites
Hey guys!
The first month of 2016 is already over and I decided to share some of my beauty favorites with you guys. I'm already in summer mood but our weather doesn't care. It's really stormy today and that's why I decided to bring some summer across by using these beautiful roses for my pictures! It's really weird to wake up in the morning and be like "OMG, I don't have to go to school because I'm having holidays!" and then to look outside and realize that all your amazing plans for your holidays were cancelled by the weather. I wanted to go outside and enjoy the sun, because our weather was getting better but now that's not really possible. So I decided to give you guys a little update on my current beauty favourites. Some of them are new, others I've been using for ages and again others I've rediscovered. So here we go with my ten beauty favourites:
1. HYDRA BEAUTY CRÈME
I've used this crème by Chanel a year ago on a daily basis but I stopped using it when I discovered the bebe Relaxing Creme. I went back to this product because my skin got really dry in winter and I needed a moisturizing product. I don't like using this product in summer, because it is too moisturizing for my summer skin but it is definitely part of my winter favourites! It smells fresh and gives your skin a great feeling.
2. BOSS ORANGE
This perfume is one of my all-time favorites! It smells super fresh and isn't too extreme. You can wear this perfume for any occasion - to school, to a party or a job interview.... I've used this for more than three years and I love it! I still don't really know what it is supposed to smell like, but it is definitely a good smell. I'm one of these people who love applying perfume in the morning, but I know that not everyone's into it. But in case you guys are searching for a fresh perfume that gives you some morning motivation, then this is definitely the one I'd recommend!
3. SOMETHING DIVINE
This nailpolish (no 284) by anny is super beautiful and I've worn it the past week because it goes with every outfit. My aunt gave it to me for christmas and I didn't try it out until now but I really like it. The colour is very casual and has a nice finish. The only thing I don't like that much about it is that the nailpolish doesn't stay on that long. I had to refresh it after two days.
4. ROUGE COCO SHINE
Another product of my all-time favourites! I've used this lipstick by Chanel in the colour interlude (No 78) for a couple of years now. I don't use it on a daily basis because I don't like applying lipstick for school, but I like using it for special occasions. The colour isn't that intense and it looks really natural. The lipstick is quite moisturizing which is why I like it so much. My lips aren't super dry but they tend to get dry after a while and that's why I need to use moisturizing lip products.
5. LE VOLUME ULTRA-NOIR DE CHANEL
This mascara is amazing. I can't describe how much I love it. I've used it since december and I'm using it on a daily basis. This mascara is more than just black. It is super easy to apply and holds all day. The only problem is that you can only apply one coat of mascara because when applying a second layer your lasher will likely glue together. That's why I got my next favourite.
6. LASH BRUSH
Mac's lash brush (No 204) is the savior when it comes to lashes that can't be seperated. I use it when applying my mascara. I also like to use it before the application of my mascara. I just go through my lashes before I apply mascara. This prevents that lashes that glued together while I slept can't be seperated afterwords.
7. LUXE SOFT CREASE BRUSH
This brush (No 221) by Zoeva is one of the best blending brushes I've owned so far. It is perfect for blending out eyeshadow in the crease and it doesn't leave any harsh lines. I also like to use it to blend out eyeliner or eyeshadow under my lower lash line.
8. FAKE LASHES NO 36
These false lashes by Mac look very beautiful and don't look too extreme. The lashes aren't totally black - there are some dark brown lashes in these false lashes. I'd recommend wearing them with a darker eyeshadow because then you don't realize that the lasher are super long. You can definitely see that they're fake but they don't look like carnaval lashes.
9. GLOSS VOLUPTÉ
This lip gloss by YSL in the colour Rose Fusion (No 3) has a really cool applicator that makes it easy to apply the lip gloss with an even finish. The lipstick looks like a mixture of pink and orange what makes it perfect for using it my Chanel lipstick. It is shiny and it looks like there are some golden pigments in it what makes it pretty cool.
10. LASH GROWTH ACTIVATOR
This product by Artdeco helps you to make your lashes grow. You can apply it the way you apply mascara. I used this product to replace a coffeine serume I used for my lashes because this serum made me cry and that's why I needed something less strong. I wear this growth activator over night and it truly helped my lashes to grow. It doesn't make me cry and you can also wear it under your mascara.
